Separating out the Teams product
Our app has evolved a lot over the past 3 years. It's grown from a lightweight app to create and view Split contracts, to more of a purpose-built block explorer servicing all Splits contracts (Split, Waterfall, Swapper, etc). And now we have Teams, too.
Combining all this functionality, which caters to both individuals and teams, into a single product has proven challenging. It makes it harder to build, and it results in a confusing, bloated user experience for both audiences.
So moving forward, teams will access their shared wallets and team workspace features at teams.splits.org. And individuals will continue to access their smart contracts at app.splits.org. We'll write a more in-depth breakdown of this soon.
Editing your checking accounts
If you're a team owner, you can now make changes to your checking accounts. You can add and remove signers, and update the approval thresholds. You'll soon be able to add automations and other rule-based permissions.
Getting this right is both hard and important. This is because the "state" of your account (i.e. signers, threshold, etc) needs to stay in sync across all chains it is active on. Many smart people are working on this, and it's something we expect will evolve significantly in the future.
