Another rollicking week on the high seas of Farcaster! You know why you’re here, let’s get into it. (If you don’t know why you’re here, check out the first edition from last week.)

This Week in Farcaster is brought to you by Splits Teams.

Frames

Resources to get started quickly:

Shots fired: “embedded wallets inside frames feel like an anti pattern,” says @woj.eth. Interesting UX discussion in the replies.

Meanwhile, the number of products with live frames keeps growing:

  • Streamm: “Go live, get livestream notifications, upload videos, & live chat directly in Warpcast with our new v2 frame!”
  • FarVille is, you guessed it, FarmVille for Farcaster.
  • “The new Rounds app frame is now live! You can now receive native reward notifications by tapping ‘Get reward notifications’ inside the frame,” reports @seneca.
  • Bracket Game has moved to frames.
  • The Infinite Game by @gigamesh.

Merkle / Warpcast

@dwr.eth shares that channels are “not a top priority right now,” indefinitely on hiatus in terms of active feature development. The team is focused on other things — frames, for one, and also Snapchain. Speaking of which…

Merkle is looking for “a Rust protocol engineer to work on Snapchain,” per @v.

Any starter packs you’ve created are now highlighted on your profile. Explore all the starter packs in a frame or standalone website.

Clankerverse

"clanker_v3 introduces SuperchainERC20 compatibility,” @dish posted.

Clanker presale functionality is also now live. @proxystudio.eth elaborated: “presales is a big design space, we'll continue to iterate around one of the classic coin market primitives.”

Bracket introduced $bracky / @bracky.

Higher-head and cracked designer Fffflood launched $OPSYS, purportedly a “utility token” for his studio Operating System. One to watch.

“Clankpad is an interface for Clanker that pays channel owners each time someone launches a coin,” and here’s the 411

In a normal Clanker launch the fees break down like this:
- 60% Clanker
- 40% Creator

In a Clankpad launch its:
- 40% Creator
- 40% Clanker
- 10% Channel owner
- 10% Clankpad

Anonworld

@slokh is addicted to shipping 🫡

He debuted Anonworld communities, which is paying off already: “An @anonworld community account is #1 in Warpcast Rewards right now — @cryptocitizens.” Shoutout to @phil and Bright Moments for this achievement as well.

Multiple profiles: “This allows you to have different personas to preserve anonymity (i.e. one with 5K $ANON and one with 2M $ANON). The default, local-only credentials will show up under ‘Anonymous’.”

Lastly, leaderboards with rewards, a SocialFi must-have.

Miscellaneous

That’s all for this week. What’d I miss? Better yet, what are you planning to launch soon? Hit reply and let me know. Or DC me.

Cheers,
Sonya
